Rear Decks and Awnings

This Spring all co-owners are encouraged to inspect their rear decks and awnings.  Some decks are in pretty bad shape as they haven't been cleaned, stained, or repaired in more than three years as required by the SLE rules and regulations.  Many awnings are in need of repair and cleaning.  Also, storage of items under and around decks is not permitted.  An emphasis will be made by the Board to see that co-owners follow through on this maintenance committment.  Refer to the SLE handbook, tab 6, Decks.

Sump Pumps

The Co-owners who have sump pumps in their unit should be alert for the sound of running water or a pump that is working non-stop. This probably indicates a problem with the back up hydraulic-operated pump which is also wasting a lot of expensive water.  Contact Herriman to report any malfunction as soon as possible.  As a test, a battery alarm was installed in one unit.  the SLE Board approved installation iof an alarm in the remaing units at the time of the next semi-annual maintenace checks.
